I’m Italian, I was born in Rome where I lived, studied and worked until I moved to Berlin in 2007. I studied sociology and media anthropology at Rome’s University “La Sapienza”. I have a Communication Sciences Bachelor’s degree from Rome’s University “Tor Vergata”, where I graduated with a thesis in informatics about the privacy concerns and implications of web applications security. me I have 2 young children. I love pizza (who doesn’t ?!), cooking, traveling, attend live concerts and watch documentary about history and science. My favourite travel destination so far is Southeast Asia. I speak Italian, English and German. Since 2018 I have a dual-citizenship: Italian / German

I’m a technologist and I believe new tools, methods and approaches can be used to improve the way we live and communicate.

I’ve more than 15 year of professional experience working in IT & Tech with different roles including frontend and backend web-development, Linux system administration, software engineering and project management.

I work with startups, web agencies, NGOs, small/medium companies and online magazines to design clean, sharp, professional websites and web applications using edge technologies. I’m familiar with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and other Cloud IaaS (Digital Ocean, Rackspace, etc).

Since 2017 I teach Web Development skills in the one year digital career training program at Digital Career Institute in Berlin. In the last months I’m focusing on Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), expecially Hyperledger Fabric, smart contract development with Solidity and Blockchains for Business.

Underwater World

I’m passionate about scuba diving and I’m an active professional scuba instructor. I love to share my passion for the underwater world with my students and fellow divers.

My professional ratings are PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, IDC Staff Instructor and Emergency First Response Instructor. I can teach all the PADI diver courses, from Open Water Diver to Assistent Instructor, the Emergercy First Response courses and many specialties, among other the Project Aware courses, Enriched Air Nitrox, Dry Suit, Deep, Wreck, Digital Underwater Photography, Sidemount and Cavern. I’m the owner of a diving school in Berlin and I have experience as diving operation manager, gas compressor operator and staff instructor. I’m a TS-system sidemount diver, IANTD and NSCD Cavern & Full Cave diver. I belive in wildlife and marine conservation.
